Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Method

800 g. Salmon Fillet
½ tsp. Salt and Pepper (to your taste)
1 tsp. Paprika Smoked
¼ tsp. Cajun Spice Mix
50 g. Butter
10 ml. Olive Oil
6 Garlic Clove (Minced)
175 ml. Honey
50 ml. Water
50 ml. Soy Sauce (Light)
15 ml. Sriracha Sauce
30 ml. Lemon Juice

Take some kitchen towel and dry your salmon fillets so that the seasoning will stick to them. Place your oven shelf in the middle of the oven. Pre Heat the oven to 350ºF / 180ºC.

In a large oven proof pan place the butter and oil on a medium to high heat and allow the butter to melt. Then add the garlic. honey, water, sriracha soy and lemon juice , stir and heat the sauce through.

Place the salmon skin side down in the pan and baste constantly with the sauce for 3 minutes, now place the salmon in the oven for 3 minutes , baste the salmon then continue to cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until the salmon is caramelised and cooked to your liking. Serve with a veg of your choice.
