Traditional British Mashed Potatoes

1 kg. Potatoes (Baking Potatoes)
30 g. Butter
250 ml. Milk(Full Fat Warm)
½ tsp. Salt and Pepper (to your taste)
Peel the potatoes and cut into quarters. Place a large saucepan of salted water on the heat and bring to the boil, add the potatoes and reduce the heat to a medium simmer and cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until tender.
In a small saucepan heat the milk and butter together just as the potatoes are almost ready.
Drain the water from the potatoes and return the potatoes to the pot. Add the warmed butter and milk mixture and mash the potatoes with a masher or an electric whisk until smooth and creamy. Taste the mash and add seasoning to taste.
