Traditional British, Main Course Gluten Free Lactose Free Nut Free, Mint (Fresh Bunch)

Mint Sauce

Serves 6

Ingredients

Method

1 Mint (Fresh Bunch)
65 ml Water (Boiling)
65 ml White Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp Sugar (Castor)
¼ tsp Salt to Taste

Strip all the leaves from the stems and place on a chopping board. Sprinkle some salt on top of the leaves and chop them finely.

Place the leaves into a bowl and add the sugar and boiling water and allow the sugar to dissolve.

Add the vinegar and taste for seasoning.
