Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon

Method
1 Ripe Cantaloupe Or Honeydew Melon
8 oz. Thinly Sliced Prosciutto
½ cup Fresh Basil Leaves (optional)
Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds.
Using a melon baller or a knife, create bite-sized melon balls or cubes.
Cut the prosciutto slices in half lengthwise.
Wrap each melon ball or cube with a strip of prosciutto, securing the prosciutto with a toothpick, if necessary.
If desired, tuck a small fresh basil leaf into the prosciutto wrapping.
Arrange the Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon on a serving platter.
Serve the Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon chilled, as a refreshing appetizer or light snack.
