Yam Nua (Spicy Beef Salad)

1 lb. Beef Steak
2 tbsp. Lime Juice
2 tbsp. Fish Sauce
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
2 Tomatoes, Sliced
1 Cucumber, Sliced
2 Bird's Eye Chilies, Sliced
½ cup Fresh Mint Leaves
½ cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves

Cook the beef steak to your liking, then let it rest before slicing thinly.

In a large bowl, combine the lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Add the sliced beef, red onion, tomatoes, cucumber, bird's eye chilies, mint, and cilantro to the bowl. Toss well to combine everything in the dressing.

Serve the salad immediately, ideally with a side of steamed jasmine rice.
