Pla Tod (Fried Fish with Garlic and Turmeric)

2 Whole Fish, Such As Snapper Or Tilapia
4 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 tbsp. Turmeric Powder
¼ tsp. Salt And Pepper To Taste
3 tbsp. Vegetable Oil, For Frying
1 tbsp. Fresh Cilantro, For Garnish
Clean the fish and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, turmeric powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the fish, both inside and out.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add the fish to the pan and fry until it's golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Remove the fish from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Serve the fried fish hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
