Dal Makhani

200 g. Whole Urad Dal
50 g. Rajma (red Kidney Beans)
1 Onion (finely Chopped)
2 Tomatoes (pureed)
10 g. Ginger (grated)
10 g. Garlic (minced)
2 g. Red Chili Powder
5 g. Garam Masala
30 ml. Cream
30 ml. Butter
Salt To Taste
Fresh Coriander For Garnish
Soak urad dal and rajma in plenty of water overnight.
Cook the soaked dal and rajma in a pressure cooker with enough water until soft.
In a pan, melt the butter, add onions, ginger, and garlic, and cook until onions are golden.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until oil separates.
Add the cooked dal and rajma, simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in cream, simmer for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
