Buffalo Wings

Serves 4

Ingredients

Method

Buffalo Sauce
½ cup Hot Sauce
1 tbsp. White Vinegar
½ cup Unsalted Butter
½ tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
½ tsp. Garlic Powder
¼ tsp. Cayenne Pepper (optional, for extra heat)
2 lb. Chicken Wings
Vegetable Oil For Frying
Blue Cheese Dressing For Serving
Celery Sticks For Serving

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the melted butter.

Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.

Increase the heat to medium-low and simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the Buffalo sauce cool slightly.

Use the sauce immediately, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later use.

Wings

Preheat your oil in a pot or deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Fry the chicken wings in the hot oil until crisp and fully cooked, 8 to 10 minutes.

Toss the cooked wings in Buffalo sauce until well coated.

Serve the wings with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
