Meatloaf

Serves 6

Ingredients

Method

2 lb. Ground Beef (or A Mix Of Ground Beef And Ground Pork)
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1 Onion (finely Chopped)
2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
2 Eggs (lightly Beaten)
½ cup Milk
2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black Pepper
½ tsp. Dried Thyme
½ tsp. Dried Rosemary
½ cup Ketchup

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Mix until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it can result in a denser meatloaf.

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf shape.

Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf, creating a glaze.

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve the meatloaf slices with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a side salad.

Feel free to customize the meatloaf by adding additional ingredients such as diced bell peppers, shredded cheese, or herbs according to your preferences. Leftover meatloaf can be refrigerated and enjoyed as sandwiches the next day.
