1 kg Masa Harina (Corn Flour)
½ L Water
Salt To Taste
Vegetable Oil For Frying
400 g Refried Beans
½ kg Cooked Beef Or Chicken, Shredded
2 Tomatoes, Diced
1 Onion, Diced
¼ kg Lettuce, Shredded
100 g Sour Cream
100 g Grated Cheese
Salsa To Taste

In a bowl, mix the masa harina, water, and a pinch of salt until a dough forms. Shape into small round discs with raised edges.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the sopes until golden, then drain on kitchen paper.

Spread each sope with a layer of refried beans, followed by shredded meat, diced tomatoes and onions, shredded lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and salsa.

Serve immediately.
