2 kg. Pork Shoulder
100 g. Achiote Paste
Juice of 4 Oranges
Juice of 2 Limes
4 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 tbsp. Cumin
1 tbsp. Dried Oregano
Salt To Taste
2 Banana Leaves (optional)

In a bowl, mix together the achiote paste, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt to create a marinade.

Marinate the pork in the mixture for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

If using, line a slow cooker with the banana leaves. Add the pork and the marinade. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours, or until the meat is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.

Shred the meat and serve with tortillas and pickled onions.
