1 kg. Masa Harina (Corn Flour)
½ l. Water
¼ tsp. Salt To Taste
½ kg. Cooked Beef Or Chicken, Shredded
100 g. Cheese, Grated

In a bowl, mix the masa harina, water, and a pinch of salt until a dough forms.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out each ball into a circle.
On one half of each circle, place a spoonful of shredded meat and cheese. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the empanadas until golden, then drain on kitchen paper.
Serve warm. They can be served with salsa or guacamole on the side.
