Central American, Main Course Vegetarian, Black Beans White Rice

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1  Onion, Finely Chopped
1  Bell Pepper, Finely Chopped
2  Garlic Cloves, Minced
400 g Cooked Black Beans
500 g Cooked White Rice
2 tbsp Salsa Lizano (Costa Rican Condiment) Or Worcestershire Sauce
Salt And Black Pepper To Taste
Fresh Cilantro Chopped, For Garnish

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and cook until softened.

Stir in the black beans, then add the rice. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes, or until heated through.

Add the salsa Lizano or Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly.

Serve the Gallo Pinto garnished with fresh cilantro, and with eggs, cheese, or sour cream if desired.
