Arepa (Venezuela, Colombia)

500 g Pre-Cooked Cornmeal
              1 tsp Salt
              750 ml Warm Water
              Vegetable Oil, for Cooking
               To Fill Cheese, Ham, Avocado, etc.
          In a bowl, mix the cornmeal and salt, then gradually add the warm water, stirring until a dough forms.
Divide the dough into 8 balls and flatten each one into a disc.
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and cook the arepas until golden on both sides.
Split the arepas and fill with your choice of fillings.
