Puchero (Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia)

500 g. Beef (Stewing Steak), Cubed
2 Carrots, Chopped
2 Potatoes, Chopped
2 Onions, Chopped
2 Bell Peppers, Chopped
1 Can Corn Kernels
1 Can Chickpeas
Salt and Pepper, to Taste
2 Water
In a large pot, add the beef, carrots, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, corn, chickpeas, salt, pepper, and water.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and let the puchero cook for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together.
Serve the puchero hot, with bread on the side if desired.
