Jamaican Ginger Cake (Jamaica)

250 g. Flour
2 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking Soda
120 ml. Molasses
120 g. Brown Sugar
120 ml. Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs
120 ml. Milk
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a cake tin.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, and baking soda.
In another bowl, mix the molasses, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and milk. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well to combine.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the Jamaican ginger cake at room temperature.
