Jamaican Cornmeal Porridge (Jamaica)

120 g. Cornmeal
1 l. Milk
100 g. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
Pinch Of Salt
In a large pot, combine the cornmeal, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring frequently, for about 15 minutes, or until the porridge is thick and creamy.
Serve the porridge hot, with additional sugar, cinnamon, or nutmeg as desired.
