16 Large Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
120 g. Flour
2 Eggs, Beaten
120 g. Panko Breadcrumbs
1 l. Vegetable Oil for Frying
Tonkatsu Sauce for Serving
Dredge each shrimp in flour, shaking off any excess, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat in panko breadcrumbs.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 180°C.
Fry the shrimp until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with tonkatsu sauce on the side.
