Buta no Kakuni

Method

800 g. Pork Belly, Cut into Chunks
120 ml. Soy Sauce
120 ml. Mirin
60 g. Sugar
800 ml. Water
4 Green Onions, Chopped

In a large pot, combine the pork belly, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and water.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 2 hours, until the pork is tender.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
