500 g All-purpose Flour
1 tbsp Sugar
1  Dry Yeast
1 tsp Baking Powder
300 ml Water
200 g Ground Pork
1  Onion, Finely Chopped
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Sake
1 tsp Sesame Oil
½ tsp Sugar
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp White Pepper

Mix all the dough ingredients together and knead until smooth. Let it rest and rise for about an hour.

While the dough is resting, mix together all the filling ingredients.

Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each into a flat circle.

Put a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle and fold the dough up around the filling, pinching it closed at the top.

Steam the buns over high heat for about 15 minutes.

Allow them to cool slightly before serving, as the filling will be very hot. Enjoy these warm, comforting buns as a delicious snack or meal!
