Gado Gado

200 g. Cabbage, Chopped
200 g. Green Beans
2 Carrots, Sliced
200 g. Bean Sprouts
2 Hard-boiled Eggs, Halved
200 g. Fried Tofu, Sliced
200 g. Fried Tempeh, Sliced
100 g. Cucumber, Sliced
100 g. Lontong (Compressed Rice Cake), Sliced
200 g. Fried Peanuts
3 Garlic Cloves
2 Red Chillies
1 tsp. Tamarind Paste
2 tsp. Palm Sugar
Salt to Taste
200 ml. Water
Boil the cabbage, green beans, carrots, and bean sprouts in water until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
Arrange the boiled vegetables, cucumber, lontong, tofu, tempeh, and eggs on a serving platter.
For the peanut sauce:
Blend peanuts, garlic, chillies, tamarind paste, palm sugar, and salt in a food processor until smooth. Transfer to a saucepan, add water, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Pour the peanut sauce over the arranged ingredients on the platter. Serve immediately.
