Method

1 kg. Pork Shoulder, Cut into Cubes
1 Large Onion, Thinly Sliced
3 Garlic, Minced
200 ml. Dry White Wine
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp. Vinegar
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Ground Black Pepper

In a bowl, combine the sliced onion, minced garlic, white wine, vegetable oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper.

Add the pork cubes and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Preheat your grill or broiler. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the skewers.

Grill the shashlik, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.

Serve with flatbread and fresh vegetables, if desired.
