Swedish Cinnamon Buns (Kanelbullar)

500 ml. Milk
25 g. Fresh Yeast
150 g. Sugar
150 g. Butter, Melted
1 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Ground Cardamom
800 g. Flour
75 g. Butter (For Filling)
50 g. Sugar (For Filling)
2 tbsp. Ground Cinnamon (For Filling)

Heat the milk to 37°C, then dissolve the yeast in it.

Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and cardamom to the milk and yeast mixture.

Gradually add the flour, mixing until a smooth dough forms.

Let the dough rise, covered, for about 1 hour.

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.

Spread butter over the dough, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Roll up the dough tightly from the long side, then cut into 12 slices.

Place the slices on a baking tray, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.

Bake at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
