400 g. Dry Curd Cheese
2 l. Water
Salt to Taste
Rinse the curd cheese under running water and then soak it in cold water for 2-3 hours.
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
Add the curd cheese to the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes until the cheese is fully dissolved.
Season the mixture with salt and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
The dish is traditionally served warm, but can also be chilled in the refrigerator and served as a cold dish.
