Method
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.
In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Add the yeast mixture and vegetable oil to the flour mixture. Mix and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours or until it doubles in size.
Preheat your tandoor or oven to 220°C. If you're using an oven, place a baking stone or inverted baking tray inside while it preheats.
Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Flatten each ball into a disc.
If you have a tandoor, stick the dough to the inside walls. If using an oven, place the discs on the preheated baking stone or tray.
Bake the bread until it is golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
Serve the Non warm, ideally with soup or stew.
