East Asian, Main Course, Beef Sirloin Roast

Bibimbap (Korea)

200 g. Short Grain Rice
300 g. Beef Sirloin (Thinly Sliced or Minced)
1 Carrot
200 g. Spinach
1 Zucchini
100 g. Bean Sprouts
4 Eggs
30 g. Gochujang Chilli Paste
30 ml. Soy Sauce
10 g. Sugar
10 ml. Sesame Oil
10 g. Garlic
Sesame Seeds (For Garnish)

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Set aside.

Prepare the vegetables by cutting the carrot and zucchini into matchstick pieces, blanching the spinach and bean sprouts, and set aside.

To prepare the beef marinade with the soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and a dash of sesame oil for at least 15 minutes, then fry over a medium-high heat until cooked.

Fry the eggs sunny-side-up.

To assemble, place a scoop of rice in the center of the bowl. Arrange the prepared vegetables and cooked beef around the rice. Top with a fried egg and a spoonful of gochujang.

Stir everything together before eating, adding more gochujang to taste if needed.
