Serves 8
Ingredients
Method
250 g. All-purpose Flour
7 g. Active Dry Yeast
30 g. Sugar
1 g. Salt
150 ml. Milk
30 ml. Water
60 g. Brown Sugar
2 g. Cinnamon (Ground)
30 g. Chopped Peanuts
15 ml. Honey
Vegetable Oil for Frying
Mix the flour, active dry yeast, sugar, salt, milk, and water in a bowl. Knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, chopped peanuts, and honey for the filling.
After the dough has risen, divide it into 8 pieces.
Flatten a piece of dough and place a spoonful of filling in the center. Fold the edges over the filling and seal the dough, forming a ball.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
Place the filled dough in the pan, sealed side down. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
Press down on the dough with a spatula to flatten it into a pancake shape.
Serve hot.
