200 g. Red Lentils
1 l. Water
2 g. Turmeric Powder
2 g. Cumin Powder
2 g. Ground Coriander
2 Green Chilies, Chopped
100 g. Onion, Chopped
3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
15 ml. Vegetable Oil
1 g. Salt
800 g. Basmati Rice

Rinse the lentils until the water runs clear.

Place the lentils in a pot, add water, and bring it to a boil.

Add the turmeric, cumin, and coriander, and let it simmer until the lentils are cooked.

In a separate pan, sauté the chopped chilies, onions, and minced garlic in oil until golden brown.

Mix the sautéed ingredients into the lentil pot and season with salt.

In another pot, cook the basmati rice according to package instructions.

Serve the lentil soup with boiled rice.
