Bhutanese Red Rice (Bhutan)

Method

400 g. Bhutanese Red Rice
1 l. Water
2 g. Salt

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Place the rice and water in a pot, and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

Season with salt, fluff the rice with a fork, and let it stand for a few minutes before serving.
