1 Balut Egg
Salt, to Taste
Vinegar, for Dipping
Chili, for Dipping
Boil the balut egg for about 30 minutes.
Crack the shell of the egg at the wider end, peel back the shell, and drink the broth that is inside.
Continue to peel the shell and eat the yolk and the embryo, if desired. Season with salt, vinegar, and chili to taste.
