200 g Cracked Wheat
500 g Chicken, Cut into Pieces
1 Onion, Chopped
2 Garlic, Minced
2 L Water
1 tbsp Salt
½ tbsp Black Pepper
Rinse the cracked wheat under cold water and soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.
In a large pot, add the soaked wheat, chicken, onion, garlic, water, salt, and black pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until it turns into a porridge-like consistency.
Adjust the seasoning as needed. Serve hot.
