250 g. All-purpose Flour
100 g. Sugar
2 tsp. Active Dry Yeast
250 l. Warm Water
1 l. Vegetable Oil for Frying
Salt to Taste
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Gradually add the warm water, stirring until a thick, smooth batter is formed.
Cover the bowl and let the batter rise in a warm place for about 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
