16 Safou Fruits
Salt to Taste

Rinse the safou under cold water.

Place them in a pot with enough water to cover.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fruits are soft.

Drain and let cool. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt before eating.
