South African, Main Course Nut Free, Ground Beef

Frikkadel

500 g. Ground Beef
1 Onion, Finely Chopped
1 Egg
60 g. Bread Crumbs
5 ml. Dried Mixed Herbs
Salt and Pepper to Taste
30 ml. Vegetable Oil for Frying

Mix ground beef, chopped onion, egg, bread crumbs, and dried herbs in a large bowl.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper, then shape into meatballs.

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the frikkadels for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides and cooked through.
