500 g. Lamb (Shoulder Or Shank) Cut into 2 Inch Pieces
1 Onion, Chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
2 Carrots, Cut into 1 Inch Pieces
2 Turnips, Cut into 1 Inch Pieces
500 g. Canned Tomatoes
1 tsp. Ground Cumin
1 tsp. Ground Coriander
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
250 ml. Water
1 Lemon, Juiced
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Heat olive oil in a tagine or heavy-bottomed pot. Add the onion, garlic, and spices and sauté until fragrant.

Add the lamb and brown on all sides.

Add the carrots, turnips, tomatoes, water, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours or until the lamb is tender and the flavors have melded together. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
