Nyama Choma

Method

1½ kg. Goat Meat (Can Be Substituted With Beef Or Chicken)
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black Pepper
2 Garlic Cloves, Crushed
2 tbsp. Lemon Juice

Cut the meat into chunks and place it in a large bowl.

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, crushed garlic, and lemon juice.

Rub the mixture all over the meat, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight.

Preheat your grill to a medium-high heat.

Grill the meat for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until it's browned and cooked to your liking.

Serve the Nyama Choma hot with a side of Ugali and Kachumbari (East African tomato and onion salad).
