1 kg. Beef Sirloin Or Trimmed, Boneless Lamb Leg, Cut into Cubes
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
2 Onions, Sliced
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 tbsp. Berbere Spice
2 Tomatoes, Chopped
2 Green Bell Peppers, Sliced
Salt to Taste
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the meat and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the onions to the pan and cook until they are soft and starting to brown.
Add the garlic and berbere spice to the pan and cook for a few more minutes until fragrant.
Add the tomatoes and green bell peppers to the pan. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Season with salt to taste.
Serve the Tibs hot, ideally with a side of injera or rice.
