500 kg. Beef (Chuck or Shank), Cut into Chunks
500 g. Beef, Cut into Chunks
200 g. Peanut Butter
1 Large Onion, Chopped
3 Tomatoes, Chopped
2 Sweet Potatoes, Cubed
1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Chopped
1 l. Beef Stock
2 g. Salt
2 g. Black Pepper
100 ml. Vegetable Oil

Heat the oil in a large pot and brown the beef on all sides.

Add the onions, tomatoes, and Scotch bonnet pepper, then cook until the onions are translucent.

Add the peanut butter and stir until it's well blended with the other ingredients.

Add the beef stock, sweet potatoes, salt, and black pepper, then simmer for about 1 hour, or until the beef is tender.

Serve the Maafe hot with rice or couscous.
