Chicken Pot (Papua New Guinea)

500 g. Chicken, Cut into Pieces
500 g. Sweet Potatoes, Peeled and Cut into Chunks
500 g. Taro, Peeled and Cut into Chunks
2 Spinach Or Other Greens, Washed and Chopped
1 l. Water
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Place the chicken, sweet potatoes, taro, and spinach in a large pot. Add the water and season with salt and pepper.
Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
Serve the chicken pot hot.
