Yam Patties (Papua New Guinea)

Ingredients

Method

500 g. Yams, Peeled and Boiled
1 Egg, Beaten
100 g. Flour
Salt to Taste
2 tbsp. Oil, for Frying

Mash the boiled yams and mix with the beaten egg, flour, and salt to form a dough.

Shape the dough into patties.

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the yam patties until golden and crispy, then flip and cook the other side. Serve hot.
