Naan Bread

Ingredients
Method
40 ml. Water(Warm)
1 tsp. Sugar (Granulated)
1 tbsp. Yeast (Fresh)
1½ tbsp. Plain Flour
¼ tsp. Salt (Kosher)
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
Mix the water, sugar, yeast and flour together and set aside for 15 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl mix the rest of the flour and salt together.
Add the oil and rub in.
From yeast mixture add a few spoons of the liquid to form a dough.
Knead well and then cover with a layer of oil and leave to rest in a warm place for 40 minutes. During this time it should rise and double in volume.
Divide the mixture into the required number of naans and roll out each portion.
Place the rolled out naan on a hot baking tray in a hot oven for 5-6 minutes.
Then if required, place the naan under a hot grill to brown.
Serve warm brushed with butter on the top.
