Traditional British, Dessert Vegan Nut Free, Syrup (Golden)

Brandy Snap Mixture

Method

300 g. Syrup (Golden)
300 g. Butter
250 g. Plain Flour
225 g. Sugar (Castor)
½ tbsp. Ginger (Ground)
25 ml. Brandy

Preheat oven to 350ºF / 175ºC

Place all the ingredients except for the flour in a saucepan and heat together until liquid. Set aside to cool.

Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl and pour the cooled mixture into the flour. Beat well.

Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet, well spaced apart, as the mixture will spread.

Bake for 10-15 minutes in preheated oven, until golden.
