Digestive Biscuits

75 g. Wholewheat Flour
15 g. Plain Flour
¼ tsp. Good Pinch of Salt
½ tsp. Baking Powder (Level Teaspoon)
15 g. Oatmeal or Porridge Oats
40 g. Butter
40 g. Sugar (Castor)
3 tbsp. Milk
Preheat the oven to 190ºC /375ºF
Grease a baking tray.
Sieve the plain flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl and mix together thoroughly. Then stir in the wholemeal flour and the oats and mix thoroughly.
Rub in the butter like you would do to make pastry and when you have a breadcrumb consistency stir through the sugar.
Add the milk and mix to a stiff dough.
Roll out the dough and cut into approximately 12 biscuits with a medium size cutter.
Place on the greased baking tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until pale golden brown.
