Broccoli with Hoisin Sauce

500 g Broccoli
20 ml Groundnut Oil
3 Garlic (finely chopped)
35 ml Hoisin Sauce
45 ml Water

Separate the broccoli head into florets and blanch them in salted boiling water for a few minutes, then steep them in a bowl of ice cold water to stop the cooking process and keep their vibrancy.

Drain them in a sieve whilst preparing the wok.

Place the wok on a medium heat with the oil. when the oil is hot add the broccoli and garlic and stir fry for a few minutes.

Then add the hoisin sauce and the water and thoroughly coat the broccoli. cook for 3-4 minutes and serve immediately.
