Chinese, Side Dish Vegan Lactose Free Nut Free, Cabbage (Chinese)

Spiced Chinese Cabbage

750 g. Cabbage (Chinese) or White Cabbage 
20 ml. Vegetable Oil
1 in. Ginger (Fresh Finely Grated)
3 Garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp. Curry Powder (or Chilli Powder
20 ml. Sherry (Dry)
30 ml. Soy Sauce (dark)
10 g. Sugar (Granulated)
60 ml. Water
10 ml. Sesame Oil

Wash and separate the leaves of the cabbage and slice them into strips.

Heat the wok on a high heat and add the oil. when hot add the ginger and stir fry, then add the garlic.

Then add the sherry, soy sauce, sugar, water and curry powder and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Add the cabbage and bring to a boil. Cook on high for 4-5 minutes until cooked. Before you serve the dish drizzle the sesame oil over the cabbage and stir it through.
