North American, Canapé Vegetarian Gluten Free Nut Free, Onion (Sliced)

American Burnt Onion Dip

Serves 8

Ingredients

Method

1 Onion (Sliced)
1 tbsp Olive Oil
150 ml Cream (Soured)
50 ml Mayonnaise
½ tsp Salt and Pepper (to your taste)

Slice the onion and scatter onto a baking tray and drizzle the olive oil over the onions.

Place under the grill for 6-8 minutes until charred, allow to cool.

Once cooled chop the onions and add them to the soured cream and mayonnaise. Season and chill.

Serve with vegetable batons.
