Banana Bread with Walnuts

Method

3 Ripe Bananas
78 g. Butter Melted
½ tsp. Baking Soda
¼ tsp. Salt 
175 g. Sugar (Castor)
1 Large Egg 
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
208 g. Plain Flour
60 g. Walnuts (Chopped)

Pre heat the oven to 175ºC / 350ºC

Butter and line an 8" x 4" loaf tin.

In a bowl mash the bananas with a fork until smooth then add the melted butter and mix through.

Add the salt and baking soda together with the sugar. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture with the vanilla.

Fold through the flour until no traces of flour can be seen. Lastly add the nuts.

Pour the batter into the loaf tin and bake for 55-60 minutes or until cooked and a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the tin for a few minutes before removing it. Slice and serve.
